What is the 7:15 Networking Club

WHO: The 7:15 AM Networking Club is open to all members of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and potential members of the Chamber. If you are thinking about joining the Chamber, please feel free to come out and attend one of our meetings. The club is structured so that there is only one member from each industry group represented at the club; i.e. one financial planner, one painter etc. This makes sure that there is no conflict between group members. All members are encouraged to bring guests to grow our club.

WHAT: The 7:15 AM Networking Club is a business networking club that has been designed to help grow the business’s of its members. The basic concept of our club is to share our contacts with each other. I will share my business leads and contacts with you, if you share yours with me. In the business world we all come in contact with 100’s of people looking for good and services. So when the other club members comes in contact with people looking for your product, they pass the name of that person on to you. You can then contact that Person (Lead) to see if you can do business with them. It’s like having 30 additional sales people out there marketing your products.

COST: There is no fee to attend the meetings. The Chamber of Commerce is offering a hot buffet breakfast for only $6:00 + Taxes + Gratuities. All Chamber members may have the breakfast fee automatically added to their chamber account for each meeting. Non members are asked to pay with cash or credit card.

WHERE / WHEN: Meetings are held at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce located at 517 Centre Street, South Calgary, AB, T2C 3J2 . The Club meets every Second Tuesday @ 7:15am. Please refer to the activities board when you arrive at the Chamber, to verify the exact room number. See you at the next meeting. Please feel free to come out and meet the group, we are always looking to network and talk to all possible members.

MEETING FORMAT: The Meetings are structured in a around table environment. From 7:00 to 7:30 please mingle and network with the other members. At 7:30 Sharp we begin the meeting with a brief Introduction about the club. We then go around the table and each member has 2-5 minutes to tell us a bit about his business, and what is a good lead for him or her. While each member is speaking, the other members are encouraged to think about any business contacts or leads they would have for that person. When you have a potential lead please complete one of our lead sheets. After all members have spoken we will distribute the leads amongst the group. The member giving the most leads for that week is awarded a small prize, for their extra effort. While the member is speaking they are encouraged to pass around their business cards (or additional Marketing Material). Members are encouraged to carry and distribute the other members cards with them at all time.
